Using Bright Colours Creates Happy Cards!.........

Using Bright colours in your card making can create cards which can lift the recipient's mood - they are Happy cards!

The 3 Primary colours are Red, Yellow and Blue. They are called primary colours because you cannot make them from any other colours.

When you mix the primary colours together you create all the other colours - the Secondary colours.

The Bright scheme of colours is:

Red, Yellow, Blue, Orange (an equal mix of yellow and red), Green (an equal mix of yellow and blue)and Purple (an equal mix of red and blue).

These Brights are the most vivid colours you can use when cardmaking and as such create the most visual impact.

This Birthday Card was made using a brightly striped Background Paper.

The image was Rubber Stamped and then it was coloured using water colour pencils. The centre of the flower and the bear's heart were highlighted with some glitter glue.

The image was then matt and layered onto 3 brightly coloured mats.

Finishing touches were 3 buttons and a Peel off sentiment.

As you can see Brights make perfect children's cards. But they also work well in modern abstract work, or on a card with summer flowers.
