You will find a huge range of card making embellishments available in the marketplace - in fact you will be spoilt for choice! As in most areas of card making you will develop your own personal style and have a preference towards certain types.However don't restrict yourself, keep trying out new things. Embellishments come in all shapes and sizes - use them to complement and add an extra design feature to your card: Banners, Labels and Tags are perfect for adding sentiments to your cards. Crystal Gems and Jewels add sparkle to your work and can make a dull looking card into something special. Flowers, whether they are fabric or paper always work well on your cards. Ribbon can work well on its own or in combination with other embellishments. Brads are a modern version of paper fasteners. They can be either plain or patterned. Eyelets create small holes in your cards which can be left open or threaded with ribbon, lace or thread.
