Decoupage with your own Rubber Stamps.......
Creating your own Decoupage from your existing Rubber Stamps couldn't be easier. Look through your stamps for ones you think would be suitable- if you're not sure, focus on ones which have flowers or butterflies on them to start with.
TIP: Choose a simple stamp with a clear outline when you first start as this will make the cutting out easier. 1. Decide what your overall design is going to be and then start by Stamping your selected image into place. 2. Restamp the image onto a separate piece of paper. For example, if you are going to use a butterfly restamp it onto a patterned paper which will contrast with your card. TIP: Choose a patterned paper which has a small design on it - a larger design will be lost unless you are using a very large image. 3. Carefully cut round the 2nd image. 4. Using either double sided adhesive pads (foam pads) or silicone glue, carefully layer the 2nd image over the 1st. 5. Depending on the image used this may be enough for you, or you may decide to keep stamping and layer further. Remember just try it out and see what you think works well!
