Using Gift Wrap Paper is Quick and Easy.....

Unless you paid a lot of money for it, Gift Wrap Paper, used to be very poor quality. However in recent years good quality papers are on sale very cheaply at many retailers.

There is a vast range of designs available, with many having an embossed or foiled pattern on them.

These sheets make good Background Papers. Because of their size, you can get a lot of cards out of one sheet.

If the paper is heavily embossed then, then using it as a Background Paper, and covering the whole card with it can be enough.

That's exactly what we did on this card.

The gift wrap was covered with small beautifully embossed and foiled bouquets of flowers.

It seemed a shame not to show them off, so we added just a simple Peel off sentiment, Matt and Layered across the front of the card.

Whilst its simplicity may not appeal to everyone, we made a number of these cards and they were very popular, especially with younger girls.

This would be a quick and easy card for anyone starting out in card making to make, or for a young person to do.
