You Can't Go Wrong with a Monochromatic Colour Scheme, Can You?.......The answer is, "No you Can't!"
Monochromatic Colour is one of the easiest colour schemes for cardmakers to work with. As it's name suggests you're working with just one colour (and no it's not black and white as most people think when they hear monochromatic!) Choose your colour and then work with however many varying shades of it you want. Sometimes cardmakers add a neutral colour such as cream or white to add a contrast to the monochromatic scheme. The only caution we would give is to make sure you use enough contrast so as the finished card does not look boring! Cards made in Monochromatic colours look very effective and tend to be pleasing to the eye.
