Peel Offs - Simple to Use Every Time.....

Peel Off Stickers, or Peel Offs, as they are more commonly known, are simple to use, yet you can create beautiful hand made cards with them.

They come on themed sheets. There are a wide range of themes and colours available, although most card makers tend to stick to silver or gold. You can also buy special pens which will colour your stickers so that they compliment the colour scheme of your card.

They are cheap to buy and your main problem with them will be deciding which ones to choose!

They can look delicate but they are actually quite tough.

Simply peel your chosen one from the backing sheet and place it where you want on your card. Gently run your finger along it to flatten it.

You can also use them to create your own Toppers. Simply stick them onto an acetate sheet and then colour them in with Gel Pens.

TIP 1: If you have difficulty lifting the sticker from the backing sheet use a scalpel or a pair of fine tweezers.

TIP 2: Once lifted let it "relax" before you put it onto your card.

TIP 3: If you have trouble getting your peel off straight - stick a small piece of masking tape over the image you have chosen. Gently pull it away from the backing sheet. Rub it down firmly where you want it to go on your card and then carefully peel away the masking tape.

Don't throw away the backing sheet - you will have been left with what's known as "negative patterns". These can be lifted using a special film known as "Magic Tape" and then used on a card to produce a reverse image pattern.
