Toppers - A Quick Way to "Top Off" Your Cardmaking......

Quite simply Toppers are a quick and easy way to "top off" your cards.

They act as an Embellishment by adding detail to your cards.

Think of any occasion and there will be something out there to fit the bill!

As well as ones made from card and paper you can also get all sorts of miniature items made from plastic and even polymer clay.

They are really easy to use, especially if you are mass producing cards, for example, selling them for a charitable cause. They already have their own sticky mounting pads so just pull them off the backing paper and stick them where you want them to go.

This card is a good example of exactly that.

The front of the card was Embossed using a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder.

The centre circle was cut out of some free background paper from a magazine, using Nestabilities, Classic Scalloped Circle, large.

The card was edged with a strip of ribbon which accentuated the dots of the background paper.

The sentiment was a Rub On and then the images were stuck on.

By using this quick and easy way, you will be able to build up your sellable stock quickly.

Photographic Toppers are normally sold in themed sets of foiled edged die cut photographs. You just pop the one you want to use out from the set and fix it to your card.

TIP: Use double sided sticky pads to add depth and raise the image from the card.

TIP: Don't overload your card as it can make it look cluttered.
