Are you looking for Ideas for Handmade cards? Well to give you what we hope will be some inspiration we've compiled this photo gallery.

A lot of the cards featured have been made with Background Papers and Card Toppers which are available from Cardmaking-Ideas, and where that is the case, we will highlight the section we have taken them from.

We hope you enjoy this gallery and if you have cards you would like to share with us then just go to the Readers Gallery where it's really easy to upload them.

This beautiful Vintage style birthday card is made from a deep red cardstock.

The large card topper image is taken from The Vintage Birthday card section of Cardmaking-Ideas. This comes complete with its red frame which is colour matched to the hat. By cutting larger than the image a white border is created. This was then matt and layered onto a pale olive cardstock.

A burgundy organza bow and fabric flower embellishments add the finishing touches.

This card could be used as a Valentine's Day card, an anniversary card or just a card letting someone you care for them.

The red background dotty paper, and the co-ordinating plain red paper, are available from Cardmaking-Ideas.com.

The hearts have been cut using Nestabilities and the finishing touches are the elaborate satin red bow and the gel letters. To make the card more personal you could substitute the recipient's name in the centre of the heart.

This 6" x 6" card blank has been covered with the green dotty paper from Cardmaking-Ideas.com. The rubber stamped image is from Sugar Nellie and it has been coloured using Copic marker pens.

The border has been cut using a Nestability frame which has been spotted with a blue glitter.

Finishing touches are a co ordinating bow and a sentiment.

We hope this page is giving you some ideas for handmade cards.
